On what would have been the 80th birthday of the former Liberal Democrat party leader, I was asked as the party representative on the Liberal International Climate Justice Committee to talk about tackling the climate emergency with justice and remember Paddy Ashdown’s sentiments within this domain.

This was in the context of remembering Paddy with the former president and current foreign minister of Bosnia and Hezergovina, where he served as the High Representative following his retirement as an MP.
